It's funny that you had some crawl around too! I understand that they live on the ocean floor ihn the substrate attached to a buried rock. Instructions were to dig to the bottom of my tank, throw in a chuck of dead coral or rock, then bury the anemone under the sand. I did that when I got back from the swap. but it was like burying treasure as I dumped sand on top of the red & white creatures. Two days later, it emerged butt first then proceeded to climb up my live rock:doh::doh: I caught it and put it in a hole of a piece of LR that I had and it has stayed there so far.

Thank you so much for ID'ing that for me. I know I should write these things down, but I never do, and invariably forget one or two. The picture doesn't do the colors justice. The eyes are a lavender shade unlike anything else in my tank. Thanks very much for donating the gift certificate that I was able to apply toward purchase of this beautiful animal. I guess it is now a "troll" coral. Ha!
