I usually try to use an f-stop of around 20 to 30 for greater DOF. I like an iso of 100 the best for corals. I use manual setting alot, set the F-stop to where I want and adjust the shutter speed, watching the meter on the back to get the exposure I want. sometimes under, sometimes over. the camera is actually my wifes, she takes thousands of pictures of our two kids swim teams and my daughter dancing. I only take coral and fish, the macro lens I borrow from my brother. we like the sony, but we bought that because we had lens to fit it from our mintola SLR's. |
