Your fluval may be the problem... wet/dry media and canister filters seem to be farms for nitrates. IMO research the board for past discussions on sumps and or refugiums. Glad to have ya with us.

Thanks I am really enjoying the saltwater one thing I have already
learned that you are never happy I have been cleaning the filter on a
reguler bases no least once a week. if I need to I will change filter
system at least at some point seems every time I upgrade I find i need
to get something else to make it better I know welcome to

This hobby seems to be all about upgrades...

now you say that you bought this tank? Did you have to move everything? Because when you move stuff you will have some die off. I did the same with a 92 gallon and had some die off when moving the tank. Just keep up on the water changes and it should right its self. and yes you want to change your filtration. Like stated above you will want a sump and refugium.

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Your box fish may be the problem. When they are stressed, they release toxins in the tank that CAN contain nitraits. (im sure that this is the spec. that does that)#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
