jimsflies Invert Ranch
Not sure how temporary this will be, but thought playing around with one of these biocubes would be fun for awhile. It's the newest Oceanic biocube with the 150-watt halide. I unboxed it tonight...had the stand sitting in the garage left over from the days when I did all-grain brewing....I used to sit my lauter tun up on this during the mash. Anyway, I think I will refurbish it a little and use it. The tank is in a storage closet that I have been working on for the past few weeks. Eventually someday, my sump for the upstairs tank will sit in this same spot.
My plan is to move most of my livestock to this tank and drain my current set up. This will give me a chance to work on the new corner bowfront tank upstairs and also move my current tank out of the room its in so my son can have the room.

Jim how long has it been since you have brewed? I was doing a little about a year ago but figured i would spend the time and cash to set up a proper system. I am about to start up again when the weather gets a little better(also when i get my system finished).

It's been more than 10 years since I was into all grain..only have done a few extract batches since then.

Looking forward to seeing this full!

Sweet tank Jim! Let me know when you need some corals to put in it!
-
Nice looking tank, I would love to have my biocube back to go along with my main tank. Good fishkeeping.

I was looking at one of those myself~opted out due to no atenic/moon leds~it is a sweet tank though for sure~loving the filtration system!

True...I'm not sure why they didn't put a moon light on it. But that's okay. I'm probably going to do something custom and integrate some blue LEDs for actinics. I can take or leave the moon light anyway.
