Ok here it is. Youtube was giving me grief LOL. This is after 24hrs run time I'm still working on *the sweet spot* Not quit sure yet how to set the cup so I'm getting more foam and less large bubbles running up the pipe. I also did a 5 1/2g water change a week ago so the water's not real dirty. But I'm working on that too

    Thanks for the video update.

How's the sound level? Is it loud at all?

Your welcome and NOT loud at all. The pump is totally quiet. Minor bubble action sound but nothing worth interrupting my t.v. listening pleasure My tank sits in my very small living room, less then 2' from my recliner. I don't have much experience with skimmers. Have ran 2 others on this tank, both nano skimmers. Of course the Hydor nano skimmer was quiet as it was an in tank, but was half the skimmer. I also ran the Reef Octopus NS-80 which I had in my fuge and was totally worthless.
So far I am very happy with this skimmer and highly recommend it From all that I've read and viewed they have come a long way with fixes to it's ease of assembly. I had no problems at all. The added sponge rings eliminate micro bubbles. My only minor issue with the design is with the intake. It really doesn't allow for good surface skimming so some modding is required. Best would be a small skimmer box

    Default Reef Octopus BH-1000.

Update: First couple of weeks I wasn't getting much YUCK. Had just did a 5 1/2g WC the day before i added this skimmer, which in a 26g med bio-load leaves the water pretty clean.
Soooo here's what I'm now getting every 3 days. Haven't done a WC since 2/9/13.
    Not bad right?!

Some changes I've noticed since the beginning. Of course sparkling water, really! Bubble algae is receding! Here's an iffy one...whether its from adding a new true actinic or the skimmer my Candy Cane is NOT happy Polyps are more pinched looking?

    Default Reef Octopus BH-1000.

Definitely turned out great! The attachment to the intake is from my Magnum 350 canister filter, fits like it was made for it. Lucky too because I had cut the intake tube on the skimmer trying to raise it up some so it would skim the surface. Which it never did-lol. Definitely a flaw in their design lol.
Yup I'm a happy reefer today
