    So are you getting better skim with the box now ??? Did your modification. Improve the performance?

    Well seeing as 99% of protein floats to the surface I'd say, OH YEA!! Love it!!
    But I really need stronger magnets as these ones I'm using from my Koralias aren't getting it. I keep having to adjust the box.

    Just an update on this skimmers performance. This is 24hrs after a 5g WC. Unbelievable!!

    I am thinking about getting a Reef Octopus Hang on Skimmer since I do not have a Sump.

    How does the collection cup come off?

    I like how the Sump Reef Octopus Skimmer Cups just "Pop Out."

    I currently have the Coralife Super Skimmer that everyone complains about.

    It constantly leaks and I have to tighten the cup until it is about to crack.

    I was also wondering what the purpose of the Skimmer Box that you added is?
