Default Reef Octopus High Seas Power Head 202b

Just received the new 202b. Packaged nicely, thick heavy guage cord, but much too short. Going to have to put this near the top of the tank to reach a plug.

A lot heavier than I expected and doesn't want to stay up on the magnet holder. Keeps pushing the ball down. Hoping it holds better in the water.

Looks like two Koralia 3's glued together. Same type of prop.

Not too impressed with the output. I have it next to a 6100 Tunze and after alternating on/off with each, I noticed a much wider, stronger push (with my hand) on the Tunze. Also having trouble keeping the 202b to stay up. Have to wedge the cord up so it doesn't drop and shoot almost straight down. The adjusting ball won't hold it's weight.

    So:
Not too sure it's putting out 3100gph like the Tunze. Seems weaker.
Too heavy for it's mount. Shoots down almost immediately.
Magnet is strong enough, even with 1/2" glass
It's big, but compared to old Tunzes, not too big IMO.
$50 is a nice price, but I'd like to try the $122 Koralia to see if it has a better mount. Also around 3000 stated.
    240g Great Lakes Glass! ETSS1400/panworld250,LED 120wX4 AJM, LED,2x sunbrite ,Tunzex4/,200gal sump/mixed reef/Biopellets. Hammerhead return. UV 57w. Chiller.

135g down and given to a buddy. New pic after the wall is repaired.
