Default Handy blade = awesome

The handy blade/easy blade glass cleaner is simply awesome. 10 bucks and superglue it to a large mag float and you will wonder how you lived without it. I'm not kidding it blows my Magnavore away, no contest. It even takes of coraline without getting your hand wet. Reasonably price replacement blades. It's perfect.

Oh it's simple, just super glue the item to a large mag float (I would give it a vinegar bath and clean it spic and span first), done and done. I got mine from Premium Aquatics they have pics on the site. I normally don't stump for a product because usually there is tons of subjectivity as to how good it really is. Not this bad boy, I defy anyone to use it and not be amazed.

Sorry the package of blades says handy blade, it's sold as "easy blade" at Premium Aquatics.

There is a metal blade, it's very thin (like the old school double edged replacement razors for your face). Though thin it's well supported and only the edge is exposed. I found it more durable, easier and more effective than the Kent metal scraper which is toast if your not carefull.

Honestly, it flat works. Can you tell I'm tickled with the "easy/handy blade".

I've had an ez blade for some time. They are definately nice to have when you need to get ride of hard algae on the glass. Just need to rinse the blade off and dry it after use.

Miz, that looks VERY similar to the EZ blade, no hands in the tank (except the EZ is a retro-fit for people that already have a Mag Float).

Rook what happens if you leave it in tank, does the blade rust right away?

Either way both options seem much better than any of the non razor type magnet glass cleaners.

I have one too...agree that you have to dry the blade. It rusts. DO NOT leave it in your tank. I keep the blade retracted for daily cleaning and use it only when I need to get the tough stuff. I highly recommend it.
