The Marine Breeding Initiative and The Marinelife Aquarium society of Michigan is pleased to be hosting the second annual Marine Breeder's Workshop on Saturday, July23rd at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills.
The Workshop is a full day event that focuses solely on captive breeding of marine fishes and invertebrates.
Speakers include:
Todd Gardener from Atlantis Marine World in NY
Jay Hemdal from the Toledo Zoo
Matt Pedersen
Randy Reed
Matt Wittenrich
Early-bird ticket prices expire at midnight on June 23rd!
If you're at all interested in captive breeding, this will be the event to attend. You won't get a better chance to hear from some of the top breeders in the country and mingle with all of the breeders that attend.
I love it when we get down to the last week or so before an event. It seems like that is when all the cool stuff comes together. I just got word from Drs. Foster & Smith that they will be sending out cool 'goodie bags' for all attendees of the workshop. They gave me a quick list of a few things in each bag and they have a couple different types of food, various additives, some discounts, and a T-Shirt.
Who knows what we'll pull out of our hats next
