- Great raffles and grand prize raffles
- Corals galore
- A free coral frag for new members joining INDMAS that day
This is a great event for you and all your family to enjoy right after Spring Break!!
More information will be posted shortly regarding vendors that have booked, great raffle prizes, a frag swap FAQ, and more!
INDMAS hopes to see all of you there on March, 25th 2017!! We hope you all had a safe and Happy New Year!
If You Have Neve Been to a Frag Swap Before Check out this Video from a previous swap to get an idea of all the fun that you will have
Vendors from around the country come to sell coral (much of which are the amazing corals that you see online not the bland common stuff that you see at your LFS - Local Fish Store).
It is also a great way to meet old friends and make new friends that are in the hobby.
You will find the hottest Zoanthids, Acros, Acans, Chalices, etc. all at great prices!
Here is a link to our FAQ thread that we just started today. Here you will find answers to any questions you may have. If you don't see what you are looking for then go ahead and ask by either posting on the thread or you can PM me with any questions. We will answer your questions as soon as possible and will keep everyone on here informed of any changes that happen. We are working very hard to make this another great swap! We are still gathering more sponsors for more great raffle prizes (List will be posted soon)!...Thanks Captive Reef!
Captive Reefs we are just 6 weeks away from this event!!! Check out the link below to see what our raffles will be! We will be updating this thread on a regular basis! Thank you all and hope to see you there!
A Few Frag Swap Tips for Both Newbies and Veterans
1. Don't Forget Cash. Some Vendors will Take Credit Cards, but Others are Cash Only (Even if a Vendor Accepts Credit Card They Will Prefer Cash Because They Will Not Have to Pay Credit Card Fees).
2. Bring a Small Portable Cooler to Store the Corals that Bought In.
3. Admission is $5 for Non-INDMAS Members (Members are FREE), Kids are FREE. Having the Exact Amount Helps Things Go Smoother at the Entrance.
4. Doors Open at 12:00 Noon
5. Be Aware of How Much Time You Take Talking to a Vendor if what Your Discussing Doesn't Involve Buying Something . Vendors are Very Helpful and Knowledgeable and Most Will Try to Help You, but Please be Conscious of the Fact that Vendors are There to Sell and Not to Explain How to Rid Your Tank of Nuisance Algae (For Example).
