Had a great time yesterday at the swap. For those that weren't there, there were probably like 7 or 8 of us selling. Not many I understand, but, we had some awesome pieces for sale. Everything from high-end to commons. If I had to guessI would say there were approximately 60-70 people who came through (correct me if I'm wrong folks). The good thing was that there was plenty of time to spend shooting the breeze with everyone. Got to meet all kinds of great reefers, and make some great new connections. Thanks again to Carl for putting this together. For those who didn't make it, or didn't think it would be worth it, I guarantee you won't want to miss the next one. I don't care how extensive your collection is, you would have found something to make your mouth water. Looking forward to the next one. I will be there for sure!!

As one of the those guys selling zoas, it was a great time, met some great people. Although for those who were basing attendance on thread activity. Most of the "activity" was people calling the store( yea people still call in person instead of post for the world to see)or responding on another local forum.
And the other factor weighing in, at least to me was that most of everyone(at least 60%) I talked to there were not a captive reef member or had never heard of this site( well had to start spreading the good word, glad Jim had CR flyers). They either saw the store flyer or heard about it on that other forum. The funny thing is ALOT of members are from from around here warren, royal oak, troy, clawson ect ect... But wouldn't consider going because it wasn't organized or only a "couple of guys selling zoas" posted pics( yea that comment actually offended me, don't know why but it just scrapes me the wrong way). Chris maybe next time you and Jim or Paulo( hope I spelled that right may want volunteer some time to the next event I'm sure Carl wouldn't mind the extra help. Jim great seeing you there as well, didn't know you had t-shirts with you, that's two swaps I've missed getting one grrrr. Carl thank you again for having the event.

And about the bar I only have three things to say that should make anyone want to go,
    DEEP FRIED HOTDOGS!!!!!, mmmmmmmm.
Hope to see more people at the next event.

I agree it was a nice event and it was nice seeing everyone there. I picked up a few nice frags and from what I understand the sellers that were there did very well.
