    Default Sanjay's Lecture

I had to work so I could not make it to the swap.

    How was Sanjay's Lecture?

I thought his presentation was very well done. I had done some reading on LED lighting, but he really gave kind of a LED crash course that was extremely helpful. He has also quantified PAR levels from metal halides, T5s and LEDs and mapped out the distributions and relative strengths and weaknesses of each type of lighting. You could tell he was a hobbyist as well, because he also factored in the electrical costs and other factors important to those who keep reef systems.
Here's an article about him with pics of his reef system: Reefs Magazine - Dr. Sanjay Joshi - The Man Behind the Photons
Here's a link to his lighting research and graphs that is fascinating:

Did he talk about the Kessils at all?

A lot of the LFS are pushing them.

Sanjay has talked about other popular LED's like the Radions but I have not heard him say anything about the Kessils.
