Are you speaking of a shroom or leather???
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying
i am speaking of this ...
Attachment 2176
it is a SPS with vertually no polyp extension
Break off a piece and use a dab of gel super glue to glue it to some LR.

Thats Pachyseris sp. J.
Bobby,do as Repto refers, break off a small piece from the outer growing margin(the margin should be lightly colored as it is the area of most rapid growth.Since this coral is unifacial, superglue the cut edge to a small piece of LR rubble, that will encourage faster encrusting and should keep its laminar(plating)growth form.Since that coral is new to you,I'd wait until you see a little growth out of the colony before you start fragging it.
Just break it off and use super glue
Hey bobby what you want to do is to scar it with a razor blade were you want it to break, eat some wheeties and have at it. It is a prett hard coral, very dense. honestly I wouldn't frag it for a while. Those corals are very slow growing and if you frag it too early it is very likely to RTN.
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most.
