    My shroom never fully opens...something wrong with it? I see shrooms all the time spread out on the rocks. This one sits like this all the time.

    looks opened in the pic to me but what kind of lighting is it in as most shrooms like low light and low to mid flow

    I wouldn't worry about it. It looks fine in the pic, & like you said it's already reproducing....

    It's obviously pretty comfy where it's at & found it's happy place.

    Sometimes they don't look their best when they are splitting.

    In general though, they will expand more fully in lower flow.

    lol. i was going to say...without looking at the date, mine does the same thing. reacting to different flow i guess. sometimes it is more relaxed on one side. also the red mushrooms like/take higher light. not that i will keep them there but my red mushroom rock is under my halide atm untill i rearange some rocks. seems to like it too.
