    Are these gametes or whole new coral babies???

    Looks like gamets to me... Grandmaster_Toad had a bunch of GSP that actually did that twice this year... Second time Angel and I got to see in person, really neat.

    Ewaitob..... Yeah that looks like a frag from the same colony that releases the gammets twice a year. your lucky its a small piece. Imagine the work the skimmer does when you have a huge colony! lol. Kinda of a cool thing to see in person.

    I'd document it as much as possible,for future reference.Eric Borneman is compiling reports of corals that have spawned in captivity.Might want to drop him an e-mail

    Hey...that's good into to know. I just added his email to my address book as well. Seeing as we are the proud adoptive parents of the mother colony from GT, we'll have to keep him up to date on that info now if conditions are as favorable in our tank as they were in GT's tank! We sure hope so. They are doing wonderfully thus far. :D
