My aquarium hobby started with a 120-gallon tank that housed African Cichlids in January 1996. I kept the cichlids for five years and decided to get into reefkeeping. After doing months of research I had the tank drilled for a closed loop and installed a internal overflow box. The tank was moved into the dining room and filled with live rock, sand and saltwater.
