I think I will go with the first advice and that's take them out. I just have one and I will try the bottle trap. What should I use for bait?

I would try to isolate him on the very end of the tank and just net him. Maybe someone else has a better method than that. Good luck.

Please stop fragging your frags.......you'll eventually do more damage than good. Just let them grow.
I would say some fish food in the bottom of the jar or glass should work for a trap just make sure the glass is large enough that it cant climb back out by reaching the rim
I have been reefing from 08-2007 till 5-2011
reef tanks are like wifes you have to give them some attention every now and then
Excelent write up and always a great read!!!
So when I got these there where 3 open and 3 not open. The 3 stayed open for about a week. Then they closed and the other 3 opened. The 3 that looked great when I got them still haven't opened back up. They also look like they have shrunk because the other 3 close at night and don't look nearly that small. All my perams are where they should be my tank is only a little over 2 months old though. I'm gonna hope they open back up in a week but if they don't do you think they are dead?? Everything else in the tank is doing pretty great . . .

This is a pretty fantastic thread for the new zoa keeper Thanks for asking Mucho, they are well. I have since upgraded tanks and these are spreading very nicely where I put them.. I divided the colony in half at one point and glued both down so they could be on the underside and the top of the rock in the picture It is interesting to see the differences in the ones under and the ones on top. they look almost like different zoas. The lunars are happily multiplying and filling in my rock work as planned and they have not be at all infected or inflicted rather with the zoa pox which I am dealing with at this time.
Thanks for asking
Heidi
