I shrunk all my polyps down to like Rasta zoa polyp size........hehehe
How high did you go ? I was told by pazazz that SG does effect palley size. I was running 1.027 for awhile and was over at his place buying frags and the size subject came up. The first thing he asked was what was my SG. I dropped down to 1.024 and saw a significant increase in size.
I have heard of polyps shrinking in higher salinity, recently. Glad to hear some good sources to back it up!
I had low salinity. Like 1.021 low........
I have heard from some reliable sources this will have the same effect.
And I thought euphilia were the ones I needed to look at for an indicator....hehehe.....
Thanks for the invaluable back up and info. I can never truely trust anything posted on the web till I hear it from a few people that I know wont steer me wrong, or regurgitate what they read on the internet....

Oh, by the way-
I adjusted my salinity long before I started this thread, and have already seen significant changes in size of most of my polyps.
1.021,back in da day that was the magic number ! It funny how things change,we now consider that the min SG ! Lol I bet you did see some improvement when you brought it up. It's funny I rember. Telling Marcus at Ypsilanti FD that I was getting good results at the crazy level of .024 and he thought I was nuts running way to high! Sorry flash back, man getting old stinks !
Generally speaking, keeping your polyps happy and big in size is a combination of lighting and water quality. Glad to hear your polyps are doing well!
