Thanks for fixing that pic Kevin.

Thanks Rick, I hope to get a few different rocks going. But I hate cutting them. You just never know and these things can get in bad shape quickly.
I did cut a frag awhile ago and lost it as it blew away in the tank, but I was fortunate to find it the next day. It's doing very well. Hopefully will get a new home soon.

These guys seem to do best in low flow areas. Lighting doesn't seem to be a big factor. I have these up close to the top maybe 6 inches down under 250 14k hamilton. But the frag was open and looking good at the sand under a 175 xm 10k.

Tried em multiple times; have lost a few and saved a few. Currently have about four frags with 2 to 4 polyps per. I've found that in low flow they close up and melt away. I've gotten most stability from polyps placed in indirect flow from powerheads in the bottom 6" of my tank.
I collect PEs, and I'm always looking to trade for ones I don't have yet.

I think currently there are two kinds of PPE thats in the hobby.

    1. That grows fast , but color is not as intense and the mouth dosent pop as much

    2. Grows slow , very touchy feely , but color is intense and mouth slit pop

The first variety gave about a baby or two every 3-4 weeks. The second one gives one baby every 2 months and closes up on me for couple of days if I move it.
