This time around I've made a choice to dip each and every coral that enters my tank. I also inspect each centimeter thoroughly with a magnifineglass (sp?) before introducing it into my DT.
Today I have decided to add another step. I am setting up a QT from here on out.
Heres why
See the very first piece I put into my tank was a frag of zoo's. Green lantern and Pink Zippers (I think?) This pack of zoo's also did not go through my screening process.
Anyway for the past two days, oddly they have not been opening?
So today during my water change I decided I would toss them in the frag tank and take a closer look later.
Well I am very happy I did. Not only did I find one, not two, but 7 electric green predator nudis. Also discovered that there are multiple polyps with batches of eggs on the other side.
I am very upset about this. I've kept it quiet till now because the colony had a very unique morph that I have never seen that I was hoping to grow out.
Heres a few pics. Hopefully others can learn from my mistakes.
Look closely and you'll see the eggs. White little poka dots in a tight circle.
