The rate at which pure water will be produced will vary greatly, it's really dependant on the water pressure at the source end (your house), and the condition of your filters. For the present we have lousy pressure ~35psi and it takes about 16 hours fill a 32g container, so about 2gph. YMMV

man thats harsh... have to plan a day ahead if you have a big tank just for a water change.

Not really, I just keep 35gals of fresh SW mixed up and about a hundred gallons or so of RO/DI on hand at all times...

getting everything completely automated now so it's getting easier to manage, I hate that "did I turn off that line before I left for work" thought that nags at you all day wondering if I'll get home to a flood.

The only thing I ordered was the RO/DI unit and a TDS meter. Trying to remember for sure if it came with a saddle valve or if I had to use one I had on hand. Other than that it was 100% complete.

Another thing, how trust worthy are the water purifiers? It would save me70 cents a gallonand mutliple trips to the store. I would check out www.airwaterice.com these guys are great and the product is quality and the customer service is top notch. I have the TyphoonIII model and it rocks I have has it for oover a month and my TDS literally reads 0
