In an effort to be able to add more holiday cheer to the header with the winning photo before the holiday, this month the selection was streamlined. The winner was selected by the previous POTM winners.

Also given the low voter turn out and double ties from the previous two contests, I decided we might need to change up the format.

i like the new format personally. having the previous winners and you choose the photo makes it easy. i dont mind not voting.

A beautiful picture and well deserved win. It kinda looks like a wreath... one you find in a headshop, hanging under a blacklight!
