    Default 6 months and counting

Hi everyone, I just wanted to show some pictures of my 225g . I cant beleive its been 6 months already since I fired this tank up. The firs month I went thru a massive algea bloom , and it took 150 snails and 50 hermit crabs and 1 sea hare to win that battle, it took 5 weeks to win.
The first of september, I added my first fish, which has now bloomed to 21 fish, 3 of which were caught and brought down from my 65g upstairs.
I've lost 2 fish in 6 months, a potters wrasse, I couldn't get him to eat prepared food, and last week I lost a helfreichy firefish. He only lasted 1 day, I think my other fish killed him. As of today, I have added 58 different acros, many which came from other members of our club and others bought from all around, 7 ricordia colonies and pally's and a couple of zoo's and a scolimia. Running 2 tanks is a lot bigger of a chore than I figured it would be, but I love it.

Looking fantastic! I really like the look of several fish schooled up and cruising the tank... adds a huge amount of activity to a reef.
Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free.

That's my buddy!!! It was nice to see ya at the party... did ya enjoy Pro as much as others? What did ya think of the new PFO LED fixtures??? I think they will be worth every cent as long as they live up to their claims. Anyhow, looking terrific !!!
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

Good to see you there also. Pro was great! He was very entertaining and very informative. Steven and Adam came by my house earlier in the day to check out both of my tanks. I guess if you post enough pictures, they will come. lol I'm still not convinced on the PFO lights, I would have to witness the par value in person. I was talking to Randy today at MSM and Joy came by his shop to show him the lights and he told me that the par rating was nowhere near as close to the Metal halide. Who knows!
