    Ok heres what I think would be a successful setup. These items are for

    The one thing i would add is to buy 2 of those T5 retros for a total of 4 bulbs.I wouldn't buy the master test kit unless you want to.Alkalinity,PH,and nitrate are the most important tests IMO.If you buy an RO/DI there's no need for chlorine neutralizer.Check e-bay for those,i saw one going for $90.You look like your on the right track for equiptment,keep asking questions and read the articles in the advanced aquarist link i gave you.

    Ok, so if I buy 2 of those t5's....then how would I hang my lighting? Would it fit in the hood that it comes with or what? It uses standard 48" strip lights.
