    Default Bad Day.....

Well it all started at 6:30 am when I my mom called me and told me the power was out and she couldn't get our generator to start, so I asked my girlfriend if I could use her rental car which was the only car we had at the time, and I was not an insured driver on it. wel I thought about it for a little while and decided it was my fish tank!!! I had to take the chance, wouldn't you?? so I was coming down 75 from holly and got off at joslyn to go trough Pontiac. I figured it was faster because 75 was backed up, so I was coming down perry and some kid slammed into the side of me... man it hit me right there that today was not going to be my day, but life revolves around my tank so I called the cops and told them they said they would be right out to make a report... well 2 hours went by and 4 calls to the Pontiac police and a seriouse talking to from my girlfriend about "I told you so" and still no cop to make the report. So finally on the 5th phone call I asked them if it would be better for the both of us to come to the police station since both vehicals were still somewhat drivable, so I got there and they told us to sit in the waiting room, and to make it better it was " sex affender check in day". So I got the police report handled about 30 minutes later, and was on my way. I got home about 30 minutes later, now it is 1:45 I started to tear the carb apart on the generator and clean it, by 2:30 I had it up and running and plugged my tank in, finally I felt like I had accomplished something hahaha. Well about 10 minutes later good old DTE flicked the switch and the power was on.... all I could do was laugh because of what I had went through to get my tank running.

Man Tim, that is a drag. At least your ok. Is the tank Ok? That wind last night was serious. My power flickered several times, I couldn't sleep because I was worried about my tank.
