    Default brown algea

um well i had this nice new spike of brown algae...well it started to get darker and darker until it looked almost black and got really think all over my sand....so i did a water change...filtered the sand.....and walla should be good right? well now it is growing back and i don't know why....but this time it is a more reddish brown.....how do i get rid of this junk...OK and for some reason there is now alot of air in my tank. and i still cant get rid of that apastia...or whatever you call it....i tried to inject it with some white vinegar...but it goes to deep into the rock when i try to stab him.....there were three of them...now there are 8....any other suggestions?

as far as the algae. you can increase the flow int he tank. cut back your feeding and cut back your light period. how old is the tank. if this is a newer tank then this is all part of cycling. and as far as the aptaisia. try getting some kalkawasser and mix it into a paste and coat them with it. or try peppermint shrimp

    Default tank

well lets see my flow has stayed the same, my lighting has stayed the same, and well my thank is about 9 months old so i am not sure why it would be recycling. the only difference that has been made is that i put a skimmer on my tank. I bought a new seaclone....i still cant figure that thing out.
