Thanks everyone. The dogs still smell faintly of it, but the house finally smells good. The worse part of the smell if you are really close to it is that it burns into your nose and when you leave you still smell it.
When I was cleaning out the tank the sand smelled like skunk so it was kind of strange.
What do you think I should do with the tank? This is the thrid time it has crashed. I have never had another tank crash so I don't think it is something I'm doing. I got it used. Toward the bottom it looks like it has been resealed. I was going to try and sell it before I saw thte bottom, but now I think the tank would have to be resealed. What do you all think, should I sell it as is and warn the person who buys it, should I take it apart and reseal it, or should I just use put it up in the garage.
