How old is the tank? Did you put live rock in it? What lighting do you have?

Coralline is common mostly in purple shades, but green is not unlikely, either. What about this "coralline" leads you to believe it is actually coralline??? BTW, welcome to Captive Reefing.

Green is just another color of coralline algae. I believe there is also orange but I never seen it in a reef tank. Probably low light.

You've added corals to what was a FOWLR. What comes to my mind immediately is plankton and the association with coral. What are you feeding your new corals?

I would assume you are feeding something with plankton in it. This brings me to my thoughts on the green coraline in your tank.....and mine! I noticed that some of my coraline took on the green color from the phyto plankton I started using about a month ago. I didn't give it much thought really, but now that you mention it I have some in my tank to. It's all a recent occurrence that goes hand and hand with the product addition. The product is awesome...I wouldn't quit using it for anything!! Our new additions in our tanks help us remember in unique ways that they are in there, and when they were added.....just in case we forgot!
