    Default curing 100lbs Live rock

I bought 100 lbs of LR from Haiti. It got delayed in shipping and the smell is awful. I put all of the rock into a 45G High tank and I planned to cure it in there. The problem is that the skimmer keeps overflowing. The riser pipe is at the lowest point and it is still too much. If I leave the skimmer off for a day will that help? I thought about pulling my ASM out of my 125G sump and using that but it doesn't fit in the sump that's on the 45.

The only other thing I can think of to do is pull out all of the rock and put it in a Rubbermaid tub and just put the asm skimmer right in the tub with the rock for a few weeks. I can then put the skimmer I have on the 45 in the sump of the 125 for now. (That's where it was before I bought the asm)

If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
    Thanks,
    Angie

Umm high circulation in a tank that has nothing living in it? Thats what I can suggest/heard is good. No lighting too.
