Default Elevated Mg kills byrosis w/pic

OK with all the talk of byrosis algae I had gotten a plug with some on it, you could see where the seller attempted to rip it off. Anyhow, I decided to let this grow out. My Mg is usually at about 1350. I bought a bottle of tech M just 4 days ago raised my MG to 1900 and in this pic you can clearly see the green leaving. Death in of the weed, I though it was cool and figured i'd share and also prove the method I recommend.

I am interested to see if it comes back when your mag comes back down. I have read mixed results about it coming back. Its wild that only the tech M will kill it to. I have tried many times with the BRS stuff, and never had it kill my bryopsis It only grows on my frag plugs then it gets on my frag racks.

    John,
I had a similar experience and can vouch for Kent M to do the job. I posted on the other site and am willing to post it on CR if there is interest.

I posted my battle with bryopsis in a new thread so as not to hijack John's.

John, are you keeping the Mg concentration high or letting it drop down to some more normal concentrations?
