    Default GARF

Has anyone else ordered anything from GARF? I'm just curious if I just got a unlucky shipment? My guess is that atleast 3-5 corals out of 8 are a lost cause. . Don't get me wrong, I do not want to bash them for what they do, just their shipping methods.

for future reference ... you may want to consider buying from PEOPLE around here !! PEOPLE seem to care more about how things are upon arrival. example, i traded a Calfo "coral prop" book for some ricordias with Graphixx22 about 3 months ago ... i have not recieved the ricordias yet (by my choice), because he doesn't WANT to ship me something that may die on the way. he had a problem with his tank temps a couple of months back, and the ricordias are a pretty tempermental type of mushroom. they are making a great comeback, but are not ready to ship yet. when they are ready he will let me know, and we can close the deal. his website is www.fragsandthings.com !!
another example ... i traded Dakar a frag of yellow polyps and a frag of xenia for some LED lights. the Post Office was delayed in the shippment and the xenia did not survive, but i am replacing it for him at no charge to him.

also, if you are looking for frags ... i sell them also !!

Thats good to know. My problem is I don't have anything to trade yet. I have a 150 gallon tank that has 4 small frags of very comon soft corals and 8 (half dead, so 4) SPS and corals. It will take me a long time to stock the tank at thsi rate. I figure I'm not in a hurry though.
I guess I learned a good lesson though. If it sound too good to be true, it probably is!

I am convinced that I just got a poorly handled shipment. I will call them on Monday and hopefully they can reship or work something out.

Graphixx, I checked out your stuff. Very nice. I will look again when I have some cash again.
