I change the carbon and PhosGuard every three weeks, so it lasts a good couple months. It's good for idiots. Tumbles better than the Ferric Oxide stuff, turns brown when exhausted, doesn't leach crap back into the system when full. I used the bulk Ferric Oxide stuff and used the recommended dosage from BRS and wasn't pleased with the results. Didn't "peculate", Corals were not happy and lost a few animals. I switched to the SeaChem and it works well for me, plus locally available.
Good for idiots !! Well paint me blue and show me the line !! Sounds perfect for me lol. Thanks for the input John,I am in for sure now ! Your tank speaks for itself. I need to visit preuss now that I am getting around better anyway. Thanks
