Hi Everyone. I ended up giving up the in wall tank idea. Now I am getting a gorgeous Oceanic 90 gallon tank. I am sooooo excited.
I was going to do SW but right now decided to get aquainted first and do Fresh water. Although this site is for saltwater, I know many of you also have FW tanks. So my question is, is this setup good? This is what they recommended:
Coralife t-5 10,000k lights 2 of them 48" $64 each
Fluval 405 - $245
Airmaster 3000 - $26
Stealth 150 Heater - 2 @ $39
Python gravel cleaner - $90
That is what they suggested to start. Can you tell me what else I should look into?
Thanks so much! You all are SO helpful. I truly appreciate it.
i would go ahead and run a sump system so all the filtration you will need wont be seen, and you will have a very clean looking tank, and if you are eventually going to go with SW then you will already have a lot of what you need. but what they suggested sounds ok to me (although i am no longer into FW).

Thanks for the input. I already purchased the Fluval 405. I got it new for about $110. I thought that was good considering LFS wanted $240 or so. They told me my maintenance would be minimal with this filter.
I guess if I go into SW then I will do the sump. We'll see how this goes.
I hope I got a good filter. I like that they say it is rather quiet.
thanks again.
Oh, what do you think about the lighting?
lighting looks good but i think i would go a little brighter, especially if you are gonna go with salt later. but you could do this little by little so you dont miss all the money at once. right now i am running 2 10,000k VHO's, 2 white actinic VHO's, and 1 super blue actinic VHO on a 125gal. but i am adding 2 more 10,000k bulbs in the near future. but all of this can be bought a little at a time until you decide when you want to switch it over to saltwater.
T5's are considered a HO (high output) light set-up. so definately "the more the better.
