hey i just got some liverock for my new tank today and it has some calupera sp? on it and some orange stuff on it i was told was a sponge. should i pull the algae off? what about the sponge?

Leave them both they are good to have for nutrient export

Watch the sponge. They don't live long when exposed to air. If it is going to die, you may want to clean it off. Especially if it is large.
The macro is okay if you have fish to eat it...otherwise, caulerpa will take over your reef in short time.

Sponges are ALWAYS Good.
