    It looks unhappy. I haven't figured out what those guys like...I had one that grew like a weed then haven't had good luck since. I think someone said to me that they don't like a ton of flow. So maybe you could try moving it.

    It's in close proximity to other corals... maybe something is irritating it when you aren't looking.

    I think if a favia got it, you would have fast polyp meltdow. To me it looks generally unhappy.

    I thought it being under 10k compact florescent would be considered low light~no?
    I did move it to what is hopefully a darker spot? Also~one of the little brown spots has fallen off~could it have been brine shrimp that got stuck to it?

    The skeleton punctured the flesh, and there is algae growing over the exposed skeleton.

    You'll want to move into low/no light for a while to encourage the algae to die off and allow the coral to swell more.

    These guys don't need much light or flow as mentioned... more flow when they get larger to keep detrius from settling.
