Unless you plan to breed them, go with all females. The males can get gas bubble disease in their pouches and it's not worth the hassle unless you need the male for breeding. PLUS......if you can't raise the fry (and it's hard to do) it's VERY VERY sad to watch all of the babies die every 2 weeks. If you have males and females, you WILL have hundreds of babies every 2-3 weeks. There's no way around it.
