    Default Magic spot in the tank!!!

    I am sure all of you have this, so lets discuss about it....


    There is a spot in my tank where everything grows with out any problems. Do you guys have any spot like that??

    I actually have a specific spot that seem to grow chalices out Very quickly
    I put one there and after it grows to 2"-2 1/2" across I switch it out with another. and right next to that spot is the zoanthid spot!!
    HIGH LIGHT and actually the flow comes from underneath not from the side or the top.

    My old 55 the "sweet spot" was just infront of the overflow teeth. I rigged up a magfloat and egg crate. Popped off z's and p's like whoa! Trying to find that "sweet spot" in the new tank is tuff!

    I'm going to have to 2nd what ReeferBob said. Right in front of the overflow does best for me. It makes sense though because the nutrient rich water has to flow right past that spot on its way into your filter, not that it isn't pushed around your tank with flow but that just seems to be a really good growth excellerator.

    Mine setup has two islands, the left lsland is where everything does well.
