I have kept LR in a rubbermaid tub with just a powerhead, hob filter, and a strip light for 6 months. Talk about mega pods!!! I fed DT's once a week. I sold some of that LR @ 10.00. The rest I used in my seahorse tanks.

If you don't feed the holding bin, the peppermints should erradicate them. I've got a tank full of them that I never feed, just brewing in the backroom. It's one of those "gotta take care of that one day" type of deals.

FYI, those glass anemones are spelled aiptasia. Just a minor thing, but the more of us that spell it right, the more consistent the information to newbies.
