THe best thing I would recommend is buy Eric Bornemans Aquarium Corals book. This will tell you everything you need to know about any coral you will come across.

It will pay for itself in the corals you do not buy and kill.

I'll second Eric's book... I bought it on the recommendation of our Coral Forum Supervisor, and I was NOT disappointed! It was GREAT!!!
