Wow, that's a remarkable recovery. The odds were stacked quite a way to the Seio. I'd say turn him loose but keep an eye on him for a while.
I kept the Rose in the main tank inside a drilled hermit cage to protect him from the seio's and the Clarkii that were hosting it. And to give him the best lighting and conditions... I dont think it would have lasted in the QT.

He should be fine. MY RBTA did the same basic thing. All that was left was a single tenancle and the base. It made a full recovery just make sure to feed it well.
Thanks, He finally started to take some krill two days ago,still wont accept any silverside's,just regurgitates (sp) it...mine had about 40 tenancles before the run in and about 8 or 9 and a few chuncks missing from the foot.

I have no secrets, I think you have to have enough lighting, I would say at minimum 3 to 4 watts a gallon and a stable tank.
I put my first Gbta in at six months when my new lighting arrived
( T-5 8 x 54 over a 75 gal) and I finally found a Rbta two weeks ago...
you also do not need a clown fish as they will be fine without the relationship.
and feed once or twice a week.
