    Default Need some help

Been close to a year since ive gotten out and now getting back in, I started my tank 2 days ago to cycle. Anyone think it will be ready in time for the frag swap or no? That would mean 27 Days to cycle before the swap. Is it doable? Maybe add MB7 or some other product to try and rush a process that shouldnt Be rushed?

You could help with the cycle but I would be leery of adding anything that soon. I would want the levels steady for a week to ten days and then add a small CUC and wait for it to settle in. What are you planning on keeping?

Yeah, i dont want to kill anything. i plan on keeping softies, LPS, NPS, and some SPS. Of course the sps would come later down the road with softies and LPS coming in first.

It's good to see that you are getting back in.

I am a firm believer in good things come to those who wait. If you find something at the Coral Expo that you can't live without I am sure that they will hold it for you or you could have somebody else hold it for you.

    Good Luck!

Easily, but depends on the "live rock"
If it came from an established tank, your ready to go.
If dry rock then you have to wait until bacteria is established. Which you can help along with microbacter7, dr Tim's one and only or other bacteria additive.

After cooking my dry Pukani for 2 weeks then cycled in tank using SeaChem Stability for 2 weeks, my tank was ready! No spikes at all. Been going ever since
