    are they ok ?

    they are covering them selves in white stringy stuff

    Is it close to any other corals?????

    Those are Messenteric Filaments most likely. I have had softies do this (ricordea) when they are not happy, trying to catch prey, or are in combat with a near by neighbor.

    As long as you do not see tissue recession then this may pass.

    If its white and stringy almost looks like its smoking, then is bad. There is an infection and it needs to be treated asap as it can get worse rapidly.

    If you have melafix on hand I would do a melafix dip (using water removed from your tank) then I would get them in better flow asap. There are other commercial coral dips that might work as well...
