The canaster filter i do know from my fresh tanks are a pain in my opnion. had 2 for years. but now running aquaclear powerfilters on my fresh tanks and one on my 37 salt tank, untill i get my sump/fuge up and running. no nitrate problems as of yet knock on wood. good water flow and easy to clean. good luck and welcome aboard!!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
