    Default Perculas with ich?

OK I have had my 55 running for years now and its very healthy now with no gha or anything. I have 4 chromis, a purple firefish and a lawnmower blenny which are all very healthy. I added 2 healthy percs last night and wake up this morning to see my 2 percs have what looks like ich or maybe something else. All other tank mates show no signs of any problems. i don't know why but everytime i try adding a perc or tang it gets sick and dies. i havent added anything to my tank in quite some time now (months). i see a spec or 2 the size of a salt grain that is clearly ich but i also see raised small lumps on the percs. any ideas?

I would QT them and use hypo with some good food. If you look in the articles section you will see an article by mutts that may help you out quite a bit. Good luck!

like jo said i wrote somthing that might help, read that and then post here or there if you have any more questions. i killed my year old clowns when i was fighting ich it can be a hard thing to stop but if you work fast when you notice it you can get rid of it before it spreads or things get to bad.

    good luck!

ich is gone, the other bumps are not and he will not eat. lost 1 perc the same day but the other is still alive and breathing fast. he's going to die and i can't figure out whats wrong with him so thats that it does'nt look like cauliflower disease although the rapid breathing and not eating symptoms are there. the bumps look like warts almost yet they are smooth like the rest of the clown so im at a loss. no more percs for me, maybe later down the road ill try a hartier clown like the skunk or maroon.
