Aquarium Super Store~ Gammon Rd, head toward Walmart & Sams. It's in the little plaza at the last stoplight you turn at before you get to the Walmart & Sam's Club. They will order things for you. Bestt to hit when he gets a shipment in.

Pet Smart (they grow tanks & tanks full of aptasia) Exit on Todd Dr., and it's near American Furniture, Culvers, Book Store...another mini shopping center. They sell a lot of rock though and freshwater stuff.

Dang...the two other stores I can't think of right off. I'm sure Dave will tell ya. Have fun & Happy Birthday!

Default And the day is done, lol

We went to both Milwaukee and Madison. I made out like a bandit today, lol.I could tell ya what everything costs, but then you would think my husband needs to be committed. I got a PC light fixture for a new tank, a 2 lamp 60" VHO retro kit (bulbs too) , 3- 250 w 10 k MH lamps, Xenia, zoanthids, and some cleaners. Gotta love fishy shopping.

I have tried xenia in my tank about 5-6 times before and it never makes it through the shipping. I bought a fair amount already attached to a rock that pulses like crazy. I figured I would try one more time without having it shipped to me. I acclimated it over a 3 hr period and it is now in the tank happily pulsing away. I can't wait to see if it still looks good in the morning when the lights come on. I bought all of the live goods at aquatic specialties on University in Madison. I LOVE that store. I have been there many times and never been disappointed.

The trip to milwaukee would have been a waste if it wasn't for stopping in oconomowoc. I showed him the tank I want next. (christmas is comming )

It was a good Birthday. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (I'm not doing mine till Saturday since some of my family has to work tomorrow.)

Angie, glad your day was a good one....sounds like you had a great time Good luck with the xenia! We almost had a crop to share, we broke our old record for the pink xenia, a total of six months before it melted away on us.

I just wanted to give a short update. The xenia is still doing fine. I did notice that it doesn't pulse during the day when the MH's are on. Once they shut off and just the living room lights are on it starts to pulse again. It's not melting away, so that's better than any I've had before. I'm going to be changing my canopy tomorrow to make room for the new VHO's. More on that in the lighting forum.
