Does anyone know how to get coraline algae off the front of my acrylic tank without scratching it.
Real careful with a razor blade.

Is the tank up and running or is it one that was taken down and never cleaned out? If empty, you could use white vinegar to help soften and remove the coralline. If running, I've found that schedule 40 PVC works well. Use the sharp edge to gently scrape it off and cut off a small piece of the end of the pipe when it becomes dull to resharpen. You can also use the PVC to gently tap at the coralline to help break up the areas where it might be thicker.

This worked perfectly! Coralline's all gone and no new scratches.
