OK here's the info on the trim thickness.

Current 50 breeder (no center brace)
Glass thickness = 5mm
Trim thickness = 3mm
Glass:trim ratio = 1.67

75 gallon (plastic center brace)
Glass = 7mm
Trim = 5mm
ratio = 1.4

90 gallon (glass center brace)
Glass = 9mm
Trim = 2mm
ratio = 4.5

The ratio thing I just calculated for quick reference. But I think it demonstrates the pitiful-ness of the 90 gallon trim.
