Is that the blue semi-transparent type of rock? A pic would help, think the names tagged to rock types are somewhat regional.... and then again nobody has ever accused an LFS of properly naming anything.

As a LFS worker I can tell you that most things we have a not named correctly. Alot of the time it isn't the fish store's fault, we know what it is but it came to us with a differant name and that is the name that is in the computer so that is the name we have to use. Other times we just don't have a clue, lol.

Depending on the LFS sometimes I don't mind folks mislabeling critters when, especially when the error in the in the favor of the consumer. As for their other practices...well we know how that goes, I'd rather someone just tells me they have no clue than to just make up an answer trying to make a sale...but that's what keeps them in business too.... double edged sword for the uneducated.

IT'll take some real researching, I'm pretty sure there is some sort of metal content in the rock that forms the crystaline structures... what element(s) I've no clue. On the other hand all land rock is formed from some sort of metals, Guess we've have a need for a geologist, or maybe just a good elemental composition of the rock... google or maybe even wikipedia? The one element you NEED to avoid is copper in any form, I'm sure there are others but Cu is a definate.

That sounds really pretty (ignoring that it has some type of element in it) But in a months it will be green, pink, and purple, just remember that.
