I did do some plumbing yesterday but it's not compleat.

I am not sure on lighting..I have a 70W MH ballast that I picked up last week in Utah. I am thinking of doing the sentry pendent DIY. Has anyone done one of these and where did you get bulbs. I would also like to see some pics of your tank if you have them. I also have a 4X24W T5HO DIY that I could use or a combo of both.

One of my questions that I am having is that softies in my main tank don't like the 4X54W T5HO (I think to much light)I have right now. They do great on the sides and under cover. I would like to make a darker area and less flow side of the frag tank for softies and LPS.

The tank is 30" long and the T5s are 24"

    Thanks,
    Will

Yuppers, take a look at this thread

Easy stuff, you can check the usual online dealers for the 70w HQI bulb.
But I think you will find the lighting pattern a bit narrow for a 20L, depending on what you are wanting to keep in there.

A combination halide and T5 may be just the ticket for your new tank... keep us posted on the progress!
