It takes a long long time to build a coral reef. Step by step the reefs survive on partnerships. And the most important partners are you and I.

My birds nest is still alive and doing quit well. I see (if only in my mind) a hint of pink.
Haven't lost a zoa in over a month. Kedds have actually made a come back, from 1 polyp to 6

My daughter's 50g evaps that much.... so does my tank.

New in my tank is I added one of those mini-maxi-carpets from The Trop. Kinda cool!

We added a pump/UV all-contained unit to her tank, and it has gone from an algae bloom mess to crystal clear in just a few days…. And is maintaining that clarity. Very nice!

I am ready to permenantly attach some frags to a nice big rock(or 2) and let it start filling in. Several caps and lots of monti digis and encrusting types.

My algae problem is fixed for the most part. I still need to pick it from the overflow but the rocks are 99% clear now!!! after how many months? and trial and error and new pieces of equip. and... lol

My tank (80g,40g and 30g sump/fuge all connected) evaporates 2.5-3g a day. the 80 is a cube though so lots of surface area.

I recieved my 1"SCWD from premium aquatics yesterday. They had it on sale for $50 instead of $80! I have wanted one for a long while. Now I need to change out my 900gph return for a Danner 1200gph and set that up.

I am still helping the neighbor with her tank. I bought a Turbofloter1000 body from the lfs for 20$ It was really dirty and in the used equip area. New owners cleaning up the store. It is the same model I have on my tank and I really love it. So my Ocean Runner 900 gph will probably get used on that skimmer in my friends tank.

+ getting all my parts and pieces together for my 5g hex which I am entering into the nano contest. I will have a 15g sump/frag tank attached because I REALLY nead a frag tank for overflow from my main, lol.

My display tank was sold and picked up last Friday. Cleared a pair of (spawning) flame angels out of QT for new arrivals this weekend, but at the moment I don't have ANY coral or fish in the house! There's a cleaner shrimp in QT though

    I know, right!?

All my livestock from the display has been gone since October when someone came and bought the lot of it, but the tank itself hung out for a while QT tanks were full and as mentioned just had to make room, but I haven't been without at least fish or coral for over six years now... my shrimp will have to keep me company until Sunday.

I get a minimum of a gallon a day evaporation out of my 65gal.

Melted my Lunar from the growout contest. That makes the 3 or 4th Lunar frag I've melted in the last couple years - I would really like to know what the secret is to keeping that particular polyp.
I collect PEs, and I'm always looking to trade for ones I don't have yet.
